The Orange mobile phone network has secured the exclusive launch of the new Samsung Soul Black in the UK, this means that consumers will only be able to buy this new colour variant alongside the networks contract tariffs and possibly on pay as you go should they decide to launch the phone on the prepay system.
The original graphite edition of the phone is the device that is open to all UK networks and has already been picked up by all but one, the 3G dedicated network 3 Mobile has plans to launch this new handset in the next few weeks.
Another colour variant of the Samsung Soul was launched as an exclusive with the CPW group some weeks ago, the difference is that as independent retailers the group is able to offer their exclusive Samsung Sou Silver on all of the networks they connect to making it a far more attractive proposition for consumers trying to find a good deal.
The black edition of the Samsung Soul offers exactly the same great features as the current Graphite and Silver models but adds a sleek black finish to the exterior casing. The U900 Soul is a handset from the award winning Samsung Ultra range, and is sure you make an impact through its stylish good looks and sophisticated technology. This is a handset that captures the market need for a handset that offers a wide range of hi-spec multimedia functions that is also easy on the eye.
Stylishly presented in a new black casing the U900 Soul also boasts a 16million colour dynamic TFT screen. Functionality wise, the mobile phone boasts camera specifications more at home on a digital camera including a 5-mega pixel auto focus lens with image stabiliser and facial recognition software enabling users to produce fantastic quality images to share with their family and friends.
The Samsung Soul Black also includes a highly innovative ‘Magic Touch’ navigation system which changes based on the feature currently being operating. Additionally, the Samsung U900 Soul has one of the most advanced HSDPA’s around, not to mention a sound quality advanced by a Bang & Olufsen ICE power digital amplifier. The Samsung U900 will definitely be the life and Soul of the party.
Although initially released as a network exclusive it is likely that the Samsung Soul black will eventually find its way onto other UK networks, this has recently happened to the purple edition of hte Samsung G600 purple edition which started life as an Orange exclusive but is now offered on O2 in the UK. It is whether or not a consumer can wait for the handset to complete its exclusive launch period or would rather 'jump the gun' and connect to Orange.
Not all exclusive handsets ever make it away from the original network, they are tied with the network for the life of the handset.
