what is a good paparazzi DSLR and camcorder?
i am in the army reserve going to school to become a paramedic and i have some free time i would like to get into the whole paparazzi scene because well it looks exciting i understand to be paparazzi it isnt cheap its very expensive but what is a good flexible decent DSLR and Camcorder i could purchase and lens i should get with the DSLR thanks
Now much money do you have to invest?
If your goal is to be a Paparazzo, you will need a full frame camera like a Nikon D3s or Canon 1Ds, Mark III. The lenses you will need are the 24-70 mm f/2.8 and 70-200 mm f/2.8 (both Nikon and Canon make them) and probably a good dedicated external flash and flash diffuser.
That will get you started shooting stills. You will also need a good notebook computer that can be used in your car to send your images using a FTP server and a G3 Internet card to your buyers.
I think you can do the research on those cameras and make your list of camera gear you will need and prepare a budget
As far as a good camcorder, something like a Panasonic HMC150 or better a AG-HPX370

As with all video, you will need a video editing workstation and skills that will allow your to do a quick edit of you footage and ship it to your agency, network or producer.
In any case, no matter which way you choose to go, stills or video, you will need to have a market for your shots. That will be your most difficult challenge.
