Lens Unit
When adjusting the lens speed on my digital camera, the units switch from seconds to...?
I'm not exactly sure what the model is but it's a canon digital camera and im sure the model isn't too important.
But when I try to set my lens speed slower and slower, it moves from 1/5 sec, 1/4 sec, then 0"3... all the way to 15"
what does this mean relative to seconds?
The 1/5 means 'one fifth of a second' while the 15" means 15 full seconds which the shutter will be open. You will need a tripod for this shot and it can be used to cause streaks of light. If you move it to 1/250 you will be able to stop action in mid air
