Limited Lens
I have an opportunity to purchase a 600mm f4 manual Nikkor lens. ?
Price tag is $3100. Do these come along much? Cost on par? I'm aware of the limited mobility and all that. Other than my decision to purchase it is taken care of. Let me know!
I forgot to mention that it is already chipped and includes a Wimberly mount. The actual cost of the lens is $2800 US. The Wimberly makes up the difference. I plan on using the lens from a ground blind or other concealed location the same as if I were hunting.
Have you looked at that it cost to buy a new one?
If the lens is in excellent condition, then $3100 is excellent.
If you don't need a 600 mm f/4 (they are mostly used by sports photographers and wildlife photographers), then no matter how good the price is, you don't need it.
