I have a Minolta XG-M SLR 35mm film camera, and a Vivitar auto zoom lens, 85mm-205mm f3.8...?

am looking for a digital SLR camera body which can use the lenses I already have; i.e., the lenses with Minolta SRT mounts. That way, I could go either film or digital. I suspect I may not find such a camera body, but seems others think that my SRT lenses would fit a newer Minolta/Sony A100 digital body. Any help or pointers here would be greatly appreciated.
Well my concern would be the quality of a vivatar lens! They generally are low quality, and if you use it on a digital body, like the Sony, you will see every flaw in the cheap lens! I would suggest looking to see how much film use you plan to do, and if you plan to keep it up, use this set up as your film camera and get a good entry level Digial camera, like the new Canon rebel XSi. Its a great body, with all the features, and more, than most average photographers would need or use. Features like Live View will help you with yoru set up of it, and the newer 14 bit processor will give a more vibrant color spectrum as well.
The quality of the lens is one of the MOST important factors in the image quality, thus a cheap quality lens, will give cheap results, no matter how good the camera may be.
