How many photos should I bring if I set up a table in a market day event?
I'm a photography that's gotten a table at a local holiday market day event (the first one I've done) and I'm not sure how many photos I should bring?
If you are selling on the day - which I assume you are, then you need to have at least 2 or 3 copies of each of the images you are taking with you.
The display ones should be matted and/or framed and then you should have a selection of sizes which can either be bought on the day or ordered.
Depending on the size of the display you have then you will need at least 6-10 well framed shots for display and you could also have a portfolio book with a good mix of your best work and at least a medium size ready for purchase of each of those in the book.
As you are taking the table then you will have an idea of what the footfall will be and a rough idea of what you will be selling (if you don't then you should not be bothering). So really only you can say for certain.
