Silver Reflector
Which is the better reflector of light, a right-angle prism or a plane, silvered mirror?Explain.?
That answer will change with new technology. The glass of the prism will absorb some of the light. A cheap, consumer-grade mirror might reflect only 90-95%, but dielectric coatings can raise that to 99.999%. That's hard to beat with a prism, even with theoretically perfect internal reflection at the boundary.
