Silly questions about photography...?
I know these are probably silly questions...
I am looking into doing some photography. I just bought a DSLR camera and I have Photoshop. Anyways, my first question is... I have been looking at other photographer's websites and I have noticed that some photographers pictures (of people) are just really bright, light and colorful (their inside and outside pictures). My pictures just aren't that bright. (I hope you know what I'm talking about and don't just think I'm dumb and crazy. lol.) Do you think that has to do with the Flash that they use or is there something that they do using photoshop?
My second question is what type of soft box would be best for a small indoor studio? There are so many to choose from... and could I get away with just using one softbox?
It's all about the light. You are looking at photos from photographers that know how to use available light or manipulate light to get proper exposure. It would help if you posted some examples so we could see specifically what problems you're talking about.
